The DP World Tour’s prize money is staggering, with players competing for several million dollars nearly every week.
Even golfers based in the US who spend most of their time on the PGA Tour can still pocket a sizeable sum by playing just a few events.
Players like Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose have all moved into the top 10 of the Tour’s all-time earnings list.
The latest rankings were recently released, and McIlroy has built a massive lead thanks to his recent run of form.
Just before the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, the DP World Tour released an updated list of their career earnings rankings.
McIlroy has brought in nearly $30 million more than Lee Westwood, who sits in second place with $38.8 million.
Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood round out the top four, with $34.2 million and $30.9 million respectively—still a fair bit behind McIlroy’s total. Sergio Garcia ($30.2m) and Jon Rahm ($29.6m) make up the next two spots on the list.

Missing from the top 10 are some well-known names like Ian Poulter and Colin Montgomerie, despite their long-standing ties to European golf.
McIlroy’s lead over Westwood could grow even further over the next couple of weeks, with two big-money events still to come.
This week’s Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship offers a winner’s cheque of $1.53m, and you wouldn’t bet against the Northern Irishman taking home the title.
The following week, the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai has a top prize closer to $2m, and McIlroy will be in the mix for that one as well.
On top of that, McIlroy is targeting his seventh Race to Dubai title this year. If he manages to finish ahead of Marco Penge in the standings, he’ll claim both the Harry Vardon Trophy and an additional $2m bonus.
