Tiger Woods stole the attention at the end of March for all the wrong reasons. The 50-year-old crashed his SUV in Jupiter Island, Florida, which resulted in his arrest. He was released after spending eight hours behind bars.
Woods was officially charged with driving under the influence last week. He faces potential prison time. Police arrested him for DUI, property damage and refusal to submit.
The 15-time major winner announced he would seek help after the latest DUI arrest. He allegedly traveled to Switzerland to get treatment. Meanwhile, more details about the incident and its aftermath continue to emerge.
On Saturday, a source told PEOPLE how Tiger Woods was holding up after another DUI incident.
“Tiger can be defensive at times but he was embarrassed and ashamed at the latest accident,” the source said. “He wants to fix his problems. There is nobody more interested in seeing Tiger come out a winner again than Tiger. He doesn’t do well with defeat and embarrassing public situations.”
Vanessa Trump reportedly gave Woods a list of non-negotiables for rehab. She wants to continue the relationship with the golfer, but he must follow her requests.
