LIV Golf announced a multiyear extension Wednesday with 4Aces GC captain and two-time major champion Dustin Johnson.
The league also confirmed that former PGA Tour and DP World Tour member Thomas Detry of Belgium, ranked No. 58 in the world, will fill out the 4Aces' roster alongside Johnson, Patrick Reed and Thomas Pieters.
"This team is built for big moments, and 2026 is a chance for us to take another step forward," Johnson said in a news release. "Thomas Detry is a great addition; he's confident, competitive, and that fits exactly what we're about. We've got the talent, the chemistry, and the mindset to be right there all season."
Detry, 33, replaces Harold Varner III, who moved over to Smash GC when Brooks Koepka left the team to rejoin the PGA Tour earlier this week.
"There's an amazing vibe around the 4Aces that you feel right away," Detry said. "You can see they play with confidence and there's a definite swagger coming from all the guys ... feeling like you belong on the biggest stages. That's exactly the type of environment I want to be a part of."
A 24-time winner on the PGA Tour, Johnson was one of the first players to defect for LIV Golf and became the Saudi-backed circuit's first season champion in 2022. Johnson, 41, won the U.S. Open in 2016 and the Masters in 2020.
The 2026 LIV Golf season, which is moving from a 54-hole to a 72-hole format, kicks off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Feb. 4.
