The '50-HR, .300 average MLB seasons' quiz

After falling 3-2 to Japan in the 2023 World Baseball Classic title game, Team USA has responded by sending perhaps its most stacked roster in the history of the tournament. 

The team boasts superstars like Cal Raleigh, Bryce Harper, Paul Skenes and Tarik Skubal with Aaron Judge handling the captain duties. In exhibitions against San Francisco and Colorado, Judge has already set an impressive tone with two RBI against the Giants and a mammoth 453-foot home run against the Rockies’ Kyle Freeland. The Stars and Stripes begin their quest for a second WBC championship on Friday against Brazil, where Logan Webb will get the start. 

After Team USA’s final tune-up, Judge talked about the experience of playing on the international stage. 

“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” Judge said. “Getting a chance to be surrounded by all the greatness in this room, it’s going to be a cool experience. You get the chance to play for your country and also learn a thing or two.”

Which brings us to today’s quiz.  Judge is coming off of yet another monster season, posting a career-high .331 batting average with 53 home runs and 114 RBI en route to his third American League MVP.
