Bryson DeChambeau has enjoyed a strong start to the 2025 Masters, and he's been one of the top performers so far in the second round of action on Friday. However, fans are taking aim at the Masters for not making him part of a featured group for the second round.

After shooting -3 on Thursday, DeChambeau entered Friday tied for fifth place. Four birdies on the front nine in the second round shot him up to second place, but he's cooled off since, although he does not have a bogey on the day yet. DeChambeau revealed before the event that he felt as prepared as ever for the Masters.

"Last week, the winds were blowing 20 miles an hour at the Blue Monster, and I told myself to be patient, it's great prep work for this week," DeChambeau said. "So I felt like I was really patient last week and gave myself a good run. Hopefully that pays off this week."

While DeChambeau has been on a roll, fans have been upset at their inability to watch him since he is not part of a featured group. Fans quickly took aim at the Masters for this decision, saying that DeChambeau's strong opening round should have warranted more coverage for him on Friday.

"Bryson DeChambeau is thrashing Augusta right now, and we can’t watch it. Thanks Masters…fix your app," @brettcasey said in a post on X.

@john_connor1984 agreed with this stance, saying, "Not showing Bryson is disgraceful" in response to the LIV golfer's strong start to the day.

@chisox89 didn't hold back either, saying, "It’s mind blowing that this coverage is this bad, biggest tournament of the year and you can only watch a few players…."

Through 14 holes, DeChambeau remains in second place shooting -4 on the day. His total score of -7 has him sitting just one stroke behind Justin Rose, who is leading the pack with a score of -8 through the first two rounds.
