Phil Mickelson’s Stern Response to Ryder Cup Involvement ‘Rumors’ Will Break Many Hearts

Phil Mickelson, the name who has represented the American side 12 times at the Ryder Cup. With a record of 18-22-7, he is among the most experienced players in the league. But when a fellow questioned him about leading the side for 2027 after the tragic two-day defeat at Bethpage Black, he cleared the rumors.

GOLF.COM posted a quote from Lee Westwood’s question about captaining the side and asking fans to chime in. But before any fans could start, Mickelson cleared the air. The LIV golfer wrote, “No rumors. My Ryder Cup involvement is over. I’m happy being a spectator and rooting for Team USA

Shocking, but the golfer has officially parted ways with the Ryder Cup, as confirmed in the post reply. Mickelson played in the last Ryder Cup in 2018 and recorded a 0-2-0 score as a captain’s pick. Now, with his being under consideration, he has bluntly denied it.
