Rickie Fowler will tee off this Thursday alongside Tony Finau and Taylor Pendrith when the 3M Open Championship gets underway at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
The 72‑hole event marks Fowler’s first start at the tournament since 2022, and he’ll look to contend for a title that has eluded him thus far in his career.
But the biggest news on Tuesday came off the course, as Fowler was officially named an ambassador for Yeti Coolers, the Texas‑based outdoor‑lifestyle brand known for its premium coolers, drinkware and accessories.
Yeti announced the partnership via its Instagram account, posting a dynamic video compilation of Fowler carrying Yeti bottles at various tournaments, captioned:
“It’s officially official. Welcome to the team @RickieFowler ”
Fowler immediately embraced the collaboration, reposting Yeti’s video to his own Instagram Story with the message, “Stoked to be a part of the team! Let’s keep cruising @yeti.”
As a six‑time PGA Tour winner and one of the most marketable figures in golf, Fowler joins a roster of high‑profile Yeti partners who personify the company’s “built for the wild” ethos.

The ambassador role will see Fowler feature prominently in Yeti’s upcoming digital campaigns, product launches and branded content throughout the 2025 season.
Fowler is coming straight from playing a major. At the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush, Fowler posted rounds of 69, 72 and 70 before firing a final‑round 65 to finish at 8‑under par, tied for 14th place, nine shots behind champion Scottie Scheffler.
