Rory McIlroy was not in the mood Saturday morning, and it showed.
The 36-year-old pro golfer was getting ready to hit his shot Saturday during the Ryder Cup, but rowdy fans behind and around him wouldn't quiet down. So, he took matters into his own hands.
"Shut the f--k up!" McIlroy barked, drawing laughter and some booing.
To his credit, McIlroy, who is competing on the European side against the Americans, went on to hit an excellent shot.

McIlroy later explained to ESPN why he went off.
"I don't mind them having a go at us. Like, that's to be expected. I mean, that's what an away Ryder Cup is," he said. "Whenever they are still doing it while you are over the ball and trying to hit your shot, that's the tough thing."

Just one day prior, McIlroy couldn't help but give an American fan credit for some A-plus heckling, after the fan told him, "You don't need a button to choke, Rory," which was said as McIlroy was trying to button his polo shirt.
McIlroy and the rest of Team Europe laughed it off and offered thumbs-up for approval. But on Saturday, not so much.
