Last year Rory McIlroy finally achieved his lifelong dream of winning the Masters. As the reigning Masters champion, he gets to pick the menu for the annual Masters Club Dinner.

A quick glance at the menu, which The Masters shared on their official Instagram page, shows that McIlroy is ready to offer his golf friends an epic feast.

For the appetizers the options are Peach & Ricotta Flatbread (with balsamic, hot honey and basil), Rock Shrimp Tempura (with a creamy spicy sauce), Bacon-Wrapped Dates (with goat cheese and almonds) and Grilled Elk Sliders (with caramelized onion jam or roasted garlic aioli). The first course is a yellowfin tuna carpaccio with foie gras, toasted baguette and chives.

The main course will have two options: Wagyu filet mignon or seared salmon. That will come with traditional Irish champ, sauteed brussels sprouts, glazed carrots with brown butter and crispy Vidalia onion rings.

Dessert will consist of a sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and warm toffee sauce.

There will also be four French wine options, with some bottles aged over 35 years.

Simply put, Rory McIlroy has great taste.

History in 2025

Between 2011 and 2014, Rory McIlroy won the U.S. Open, The Open Championship and the PGA Championship twice. But the Masters continued to elude him for over a decade despite seven top-10 finishes between 2014 and 2022 alone.

After McIlroy was cut from the 2023 Masters, people reasonably began to wonder if he would ever win the most prestigious tournament in golf.

At the 2025 Masters, McIlroy got off to an unimpressive start, scoring a 72 and ranking 27th after the first round. But then the magic started flowing.

Rory scored a 66 in Round Two and climbed all the way to third - just two strokes off Justin Rose for the lead - and made the cut. Another 66 in the third round gave him sole possession of the lead by two strokes over Bryson DeChambeau.

But things got hairy on the fourth and final round. A score of 73 allowed Rose and his 66 to tie McIlroy for the lead and send the Masters into a playoff. By then, fans were expecting the meltdown to complete and yield the green jacket to Rose.

Playing from the 18th hole to start the playoff, McIlroy and Rose both found the fairway on their tee shots and reached the green on their second. But Rose missed his birdie putt and had to settle for par. McIlroy sank his birdie shot for the win and his first green jacket.
