Scottie Scheffler, thanks to his four wins and 13 top-10 finishes this season, has already banked more than $19 million in on-course earnings in 2025. As if that wasn't enough, the World No. 1 is about to add another $18 million to that total on Sunday.
The crazy part? He won't even need to get up off his couch to do so.
The player ranked No. 1 in the FedEx Cup standings after the regular season receives a $10 million bonus. Considering the Wyndham Championship marks the end of the regular season, and Scheffler is ahead of the next-closest player in the standings by 1,362 points, no one can catch him this week.
But that's not all. In addition to the $10 million bonus, the top player in the Comcast Business Tour Top 10 at the end of the regular season receives $8 million. The Comcast Business Tour Top 10 is just the 10 players with the most FedEx Cup points, so Scheffler has that top spot locked up, too.
So, even though Scheffler won't have to hit a single shot this week, he's going to be $18 million richer by Sunday afternoon. Not too shabby for an off week, huh?

By the time the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin on Aug. 7, Scheffler will have cashed in on more than $37 million in on-course earnings this year. That won't be his final tally, either. Scheffler is a lock to play in the FedEx St. Jude Championship, the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship — the three tournaments in the FedEx Cup Playoffs.
The winner of the FedEx Cup will receive a $10 million bonus, and it's hard to imagine anyone taking down Scheffler in a 30-man field at the Tour Championship. When it's all said and done, Scheffler could finish the 2025 season with more than $54 million in on-course earnings alone.
