Scottie Scheffler continued his dominant 2025 season by winning his fourth major title Sunday at the British Open at Royal Portrush. But that wasn’t the only milestone he hit. With the victory, Scheffler officially entered one of the most exclusive clubs in golf, the PGA Tour’s $90 million club.
According to updated earnings, Scheffler now sits at $90,996,470 in PGA Tour career winnings, making him just the fourth player in history to cross the $90 million mark. He joins the legendary trio of Tiger Woods ($120.9M), Rory McIlroy ($107.1M) and Phil Mickelson ($96.7 million).
Incredibly, Scheffler has earned over $19 million just in 2025, placing him ahead of long-time pros like Cameron Young and David Duval on the all-time money list, and it’s still July. If he keeps up this form through the FedEx Cup Playoffs, he could easily pass Mickelson soon and continue closing the gap on McIlroy.

At the top, Tiger Woods remains untouchable for now with $120,999,126 in earnings, supported by 82 PGA Tour wins and 15 majors. But at Scheffler’s current pace, the gap is narrowing fast. As some put it, it’s not about “if” Scheffler will eventually top the list it’s about “when.”
Scheffler, who owns 17 PGA Tour wins, will take a much-deserved break this week, sitting out the PGA Tour's 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. The tournament begins Thursday.
With the FedEx Cup looming and Scheffler firing on all cylinders, the money and the milestones just keep rolling in.
