With the 2025 PGA Tour season having not seen much action from its leader in Tiger Woods, he has been making some noise on the outside. Woods has been able to keep his name alive most recently, with the newly updated surrounding Marcella Club. A private club with amenities located on the slopes of Deer Valley, Historic Main Street Park City, and Jordanelle Ridge. After having to be sidelined due to another injury, Woods has now ventured into his first mountain course and design for his company. An achievement very few in the game of golf have been able to experience, but one some will have the luxury of taking swings at.
This newly designed and soon to be completed course, is just one out of 13 eye opening courses made by the design team of Woods. Their ability to make a vision come true for all levels of competition, is what makes TGR Design a top company in their respective lanes.
“The course will offer engaging play for every ability,” Woods said in a tweet. “My intent is to create a world-class golf experience to pair with Marcella Club’s vision for modern luxury living.”
Not only will this be the first 18-hole mountain course in the portfolio, but also the first course in Utah for Woods as a whole. The Marcella Club joined together with Marcella Mountain and Marcella at Jordanelle Ridge communities in the Park City area. In the end, making the Marcella Club an exclusive member in its entirety.
Now by all means many would have rather seen Woods compete this season, instead of the unlucky reality of injuries. Although this is much bigger to Woods than reaping the limelight, he is able to take immense pride in his creations.
“Two key factors for me are being able to work with great partners on great properties. My team has built a superb relationship with our partners on Marcella. That said, I am thrilled about the location of this property,” Woods said. “The canvas for my course is one of the most dramatic I’ve ever seen. It has ridgelines with some of the most stunning views in the world, valleys with amazing contours and topography, and groves of trees that allow me to use creativity to bring to life a golf experience that’s something special.”
Other courses in the portfolio of Woods include those like Paynes Valley, Jacks Bay, The Legacy Club At Diamanté, and Bluejack Ranch. His legacy as the best in the game of golf has been solidified by all means, with a now centered focus of duplicating that with TGR Design.
