Golf legend Tiger Woods appears to have headed to Switzerland to get treatment following a rollover car crash in Jupiter Island, Florida, and a subsequent arrest last Friday. The 50-year-old raised plenty of eyebrows after police arrested him for driving under the influence, which raised concerns about his well-being-
Woods issued a statement on Tuesday, announcing he would step away from the sport to seek help. His lawyer requested that the judge allow the player to get help overseas due to privacy concerns.
His private plane landed in Zurich before returning to American soil, which suggested that Woods stayed in the European country to receive treatment. Back in the U.S., another issue could be brewing for the 15-time major winner.
TMZ Sports reported on Thursday that the victim in the Tiger Woods crash hired a lawyer. Jason Fagnano, a personal injury attorney specializing in auto, truck, motorcycle, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, will represent Jeromy Bullard.
While the move doesn’t mean he will sue Woods, it allows Bullard to have representation in the criminal case.
Woods hit the pressure washer trailer attached to Bullard’s Ford pickup last week when the golfer tried to turn into a driveway. Bullard’s pickup rig was damaged, costing around $5,000 to repair.
