There may not be a more iconic look in golf than Tiger Woods wearing his "Sunday Red" at the Masters. A big announcement could change how that look appears everywhere.
On Sunday, Woods' Sun Day Red clothing brand announced that the Heritage Icon Polo shirt that they sell will now be available in the "Sunday Red" color. The polo shirt will now be available in the same color that Tiger wore to numerous Masters titles.
"The Icon is the ideal representative of our Heritage polo collection, built to fulfill Tiger’s requests for how a golf shirt fits, performs and looks," the item description says.
The shirt is currently available for $115.00 on SunDayRed.com.

The shirt description describes them as "designed specifically for Tiger to compete in."
"Heritage polos are designed specifically for Tiger to compete in. Their silhouette, sleeve length, self-fabric collar and 3-button placket are all reminiscent of a classic polo, making them excellent for off-course wear too. Heritage polos like the Icon are cut in accordance to our Heritage Fit, which allows Tiger just enough room to comfortably turn to the top of his backswing and execute his downswing without restriction, with no added bulk."
The item description also states that Tiger assisted in creating the design to exact specifications.
"Tiger helped us create the dimensions of our Heritage Fit, which provides the room needed to swing without restriction, but isn’t bulky. For shirts he practices and competes in, we worked closely with him on breathable, moisture-wicking fabric, a 3-button placket with the buttons spaced 2 ¼” apart (his exact preference), a self-fabric collar with a specific amount of spread, and a stepped hem that stays tucked in when he swings, bends and crouches."
The wider golf world deeply missed Tiger at the Masters earlier this month. While there was still plenty of excitement with Rory McIlroy taking over to win the green jacket, Tiger's absence was still felt.
We can only hope to see Tiger wearing his Sunday Red sometime in the near future.
Maybe in the years to come we'll see other golfers wearing Sunday Red to pay homage to him.
