Scottie Scheffler added another title to his growing list of PGA Tour wins, while Jon Rahm clinched the LIV Golf Individual Championship across the same weekend.

Rahm didn’t take home the event trophy at LIV Golf Indianapolis, losing in a playoff to Sebastian Munoz, but his finish was enough to secure him the season-long crown over Joaquin Niemann, along with an $18million bonus.

The Spaniard said: “It feels great. I would have loved obviously to get a win throughout this year as well because when you’re a champion without ever winning it’s always an odd feeling.”

“But I think my worst finish was eighth place, so I had an extremely solid year,” he continued. “I got close quite a few times but never really had my best stuff on Sunday unfortunately so far this year.”

Huge LIV Golf Indianapolis crowd enjoy thrilling finish at The Club at Chatham Hills

While Scheffler’s win brought in the larger TV numbers, LIV Golf Indianapolis still saw strong support on the ground.

The Club at Chath am Hills hosted more than 60,000 fans over three days, and those in attendance witnessed an entertaining event from start to finish.

The excitement began with Munoz firing a remarkable 12-under 59 on Friday, which included a double bogey – a rare feat in elite professional golf.

On Sunday, Rahm came close to matching it with an 11-under 60, a personal best that also helped him claim the Individual Championship title from Niemann.

Niemann didn’t leave empty-handed though. He led Torque GC to their first team win since 2023, finishing with a record cumulative score of 64-under.

Munoz added his first individual title to that team victory, rounding off an impressive week for both player and team.
