Kristoffer Reitan has secured his maiden PGA Tour win after securing a two-shot victory at the Truist Championship.

Reitan finished the tournament at Quail Hollow on 15-under, just ahead of Rickie Fowler and Nicolai Hojgaard in a tie for second.

The Norwegian carded rounds of 66, 70, 64 and 69 to emerge victorious, with Alex Fitzpatrick finishing fourth despite leading by one shot going into Sunday’s final round.

Reitan has earned 700 FedExCup points and $3.6million for his victory at the Truist Championship, along with the praise of his fellow PGA Tour player Viktor Hovland.

Hovland was also in the field for the Signature Event in North Carolina, finishing in a tie for 31st place on three-under.

And he was joined by many high-profile names such as Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood and Cameron Young, who Reitan can be very proud of outshining.

The 28-year-old has, in fact, emulated a handful of star players with his fantastic victory, as shared by Justin Ray on X.

In claiming his first PGA Tour win at the Truist Championship, he joins Anthony Kim (2008), Rory McIlroy (2010), Fowler (2012), Derek Ernst (2013), and Max Homa (2019).
