Ludvig Aberg dazzled spectators at the Genesis Invitational on Saturday with a hole-in-one that was nothing short of spectacular. The Swedish golf prodigy, who made his mark by sinking his tee shot on the third hole from 140 yards out, is quickly becoming a standout name on the PGA Tour.

Armed with a pitching wedge and facing a slightly downhill trajectory, Aberg expertly landed the ball a few feet past the pin only for it to spin back, rattle around the hole, and drop in. This first hole-in-one of Aberg’s career was met with a subdued but heartfelt celebration, a stark contrast to the uproarious applause that greeted Emiliano Grillo's ace at the Phoenix Open's 16th hole last week.
At just 25 years old and a mere two years into his professional career, Aberg has shown impressive form by making 34 of 39 cuts, including 13 top-ten finishes, nine top-fives, and four runner-up finishes. Coming into the day at 4-under par, Aberg’s hole-in-one propelled him into a tie for second place at the time.
