We all know avocado is great on toast and used to make this super delicious dip called guacamole. But, if you want something to shake up your avo usage, try one of the tasty ideas below!

Greens in a smoothie is nothing new, but if you’re sick of kale, spinach, banana, and apple combos, try adding everyone’s favorite green fruit. Avocado adds a nice smoothness to a morning drink or pre-workout liquid snack. It pairs great with lemon, ginger, and tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango.

Warm avocado might sound a bit odd, but hear me out. Combined with a bit of milk, creme, stock, and spices, it’s the ideal soup. Alternatively, let it cool and serve as a gazpacho (cold soup from Spain.)

Avocado salad can be made using a variety of veggies and ingredients, heavy on the avocado, of course. For the best combination of texture and flavor, I recommend quartered tomato, cucumber, feta, and your choice of fresh herbs, plus a squeeze of lemon.

Guacamole isn’t the only dip you can make with these green delights. Take some Greek yogurt and blend in some avocado, lemon juice, garlic, and sea salt. Add additional flavors like Dijon, cilantro, or dill per your preference.

Seafood goes great with avocado (which is why guacamole is often served with ceviche). For a fun twist, wrap shrimp and avocado in a tortilla of your choice. If you have mango lying around, that’s also a nice addition.

Non-meat burgers come in many forms. You can grill a portobello mushroom, make a patty of plant protein like peas, or smash some beans together. You know what tastes amazing with all of the above? Avocado! Mix it with a patty mix or just slice some to put fresh as a topping.

This sounds weird, but don’t worry. Adding just a bit of avocado to a chocolate mouse won’t mess up the flavor, but it will make it extra creamy and just a tad healthier.
