Hafthor Bjornsson is on his way to breaking his deadlift record, and if his preparations are believed, then it seems nothing can stop him.

The Game of Thrones star is currently preparing for the Enhanced Games, which are to be held on May 21–24, 2026, and from time to time keeps sharing videos of his progress on Instagram. He shared a video on May 10 in which he had everyone in the comments section stunned in silence.

“Comfortable 390kg deadlift 2sets of 4reps. FULL DAY OF EATING + This whole training session live on YouTube. Go check it out!’” captioned the Instagram video.

The video showed him effortlessly deadlifting 860 lbs (390 kg) for reps. Dressed in his gear, the ‘Mountain’ performed four reps of the deadlift before giving a positive nod to the camera.

On January 7, this year, the Strongman announced that he will be attempting to break his own deadlift record of 510 kg, which was set in September last year at the Mutant World Deadlift Championships. Bjornsson claims that he can reach the deadlift weight of 550 kg, but for now, he will be attempting to lift 515 kg (1135 pounds) at the Enhanced Games.

Before this video, the Icelandic star shared his progress on April 25 on Instagram, where he easily deadlifted an even bigger weight. In the video, he lifted loads that kept increasing progressively. The weight starts from 70 kg and reaches up to a staggering 470 kg.

If all goes well, then this will be a fourth for Bjornsson after his record-setting 501 kg, 505 kg, and 510 kg deadlifts.

Noting his strength, some fans even encouraged him to go an extra mile by writing,
