Nobody regrets visiting these 20 countries in the spring

Japan has lots to offer year-round, but in the spring, the weather is beautiful, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. If you want magical and quintessentially Japanese views, go in the spring. 

Greece is a popular destination for summer vacationers, but it’s just as good in the springtime. The weather is still beautiful and the food is still fresh. The views are just as good, too, so there’s really no reason not to go to Greece this season. 

Spring is a great time to visit France, especially if you’re going across the entire country. You’ll get to see great landscapes as they thaw from the winter, and the weather will be perfect for walking around and exploring. 

Iceland is known for its winter vistas, but it’s beautiful when it defrosts, too. Visit Iceland in the spring and you’ll get to experience the country’s majesty without fear of frostbite. Going in the spring will also be better for your wallet.  

If you want a tropical getaway, get to the Maldives in the spring. You’ll miss the summer crowds and get good weather. You might even miss a springtime storm or two, depending on where you call home. 

Austria is a country that you’ll want to go back to in every season because it’s just so gorgeous. But if you have to pick just one, start with the spring. It’s the time of year when all of your greatest Sound of Music fantasies can come to life. 

Vietnam has lots going on in the spring. If you time it right, you’ll get great views, beautiful weather, and lots of cultural activities, including holidays and festivals. 

While Canada can still be a little chilly in the springtime, it’s still a great time to see the country. You’ll catch plenty of wildlife sightings and see all the beautiful landscapes as they’re defrosting from their hibernations. 

The heat in the United Arab Emirates can be stifling in the summer. Unless you love incredibly high temperatures, you’ll want to avoid visiting then. The spring, however, is a lovely time to visit. It’s still hot, but rainfall is low, and you can get in some good beach time. 

There are so many beautiful places in Italy in the spring. The problem won’t be visiting the country; it’ll be deciding where exactly to go. But don’t be paralyzed by indecision. Know that wherever you go will be sublime. 

People love to visit Morocco in the springtime because the temperatures are great and the colors are beautiful. There are also fewer tourists to contend with, and there are lots of cultural events happening throughout the country that you can’t experience anywhere but Morocco. 

Nepal has lots to see and do, and you’d be wise to see and do it all in the spring. The days are warm and the nights are cool, and it’s a great time to feast your eyes on the mighty Himalayas. In fact, spring is one of the recommended times to climb Mount Everest. 

If you like to get out into nature, visiting New Zealand in the spring is your best bet. There aren’t as many crowds, and there’s so much to do, like hiking, biking, kayaking, and more, all of which will allow you to see the beautiful landscapes. 

You’ll enjoy visiting Peru whether you go during America’s springtime or Peru’s springtime. The crowds will be more sparse, the landscape will be lush, and there will be more than enough to do each day. 

One weather phenomenon you do have to be careful of in spring is rain. Fortunately for those visiting South Africa in the spring, rain isn’t much of a problem. It’s all beautiful views and delicious food. 

Portugal is known for its coasts, but if you prefer to see rather than swim, go in the spring. There won’t be as many people, so you’ll get great views of the actual landscapes rather than the other tourists who are looking at them, too. 

There is a good chance it will rain if you visit Indonesia in the spring, but you have to take that chance any time you visit the country. Spring is a great time to visit Indonesia if you want to do so on a budget because it’s the off-season, so it’s cheaper than the busy season. 

Sadly, for many people, it takes some convincing to visit Montenegro at all, let alone in the spring. Though not quite as popular as some of its European counterparts, Montenegro is a wonderful place to visit, and you’ll have a great time going in the spring. 

Colombia has a very diverse terrain, so going in the spring will leave you with differences in weather depending on where you are. However, it’s generally a pleasant time to visit, and you’ll be able to see all the vistas you were hoping to see. 

Turkey is a country that requires a lot of walking, so you’ll want to go in the spring. This will leave you with weather that is perfect for seeing as much of the country as you can. There are also lots of activities that are unique to Turkey happening in the spring, so you’ll have an abundance of things to do.
