Jackson Chourio’s status for the rest of the NLDS is up in the air — for now. The young outfielder had an MRI after suffering a hamstring injury but there’s still unknowns regarding his health. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia, the Phillies received good news on Harrison Bader after he left Game 1.

Chourio’s MRI comes back inconclusive

Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio had a preliminary MRI on his right hamstring after suffering an injury that forced him to exit Milwaukee’s victory in Game 1 of the NLDS. However, it came back inconclusive.

Chourio was scheduled to have a light workout session on the 5th, one day before Game 2. It’s unknown whether he’ll be available for Game 2.

The second-year outfielder said after the game in Spanish that, physically, he felt good after the game.

No tear for Bader

During Game 1 of the Phillies’ NLDS series against the Dodgers, outfielder Harrison Bader left the game due to a groin injury.

After the injury, Bader stated that he felt that he didn’t think he could sprint at full strength out at center field.

Per Phillies manager Rob Thomson, an MRI didn’t show a strain or tear of his groin. Thomson also added that he felt better after treatment.

Lowder to pitch in AFL

The Reds added Rhett Lowder, who spent all of 2025 on the injured list this season, to the Peoria Javelinas‘ roster. Lowder will pitch in the Arizona Fall League for Peoria.

The rookie started the 2025 season on the IL with a forearm strain. But in May, Lowder suffered an oblique strain during a rehab start, which pushed his timeline back further.

He wound up making one start in Triple-A during September but didn’t make it back to the Majors after finishing 2024 with the big club.

Lowder struck out 13 over 9.1 innings across five starts this season in the Minors. He gave up 15 hits and 11 earned runs.
