Aaron Judge is headed back to the All-Star Game.

The Yankees’ captain was officially announced Thursday night as the leading vote-getter in the American League for the first phase of the 2025 PRO SPIRIT MLB All-Star Ballot, earning an automatic starting nod in the Midsummer Classic at Truist Park in Atlanta on July 15.

This season, the 32-year-old slugger has delivered another MVP-caliber campaign. He leads the league in home runs and slugging percentage and has once again carried a Yankees lineup that’s battled inconsistency around him. His combination of power, plate discipline, and highlight-reel defense in center field has made him one of the game’s most complete players.

Shohei Ohtani earned the top NL spot and will start for the Dodgers, setting up a familiar All-Star headline: baseball’s biggest stage, and its two biggest stars front and center.

Phase 2 of the All-Star voting begins at noon ET on Monday, June 30, and runs through noon ET on Wednesday, July 2. Fans will choose the remaining position-player starters from the top finalists at each position. Final lineups will be revealed live on ESPN at 7 p.m. ET that evening.

Judge’s place in the lineup is already secured. And once again, he’ll be right in the middle of baseball’s brightest spotlight.
