Alex Vesia Bobblehead Giveaway Planned By Habit Burger & Grill

While the Los Angeles Dodgers are going to be playing in the National League Division Series, Habit & Co. is planning an Alex Vesia bobblehead giveaway.

The bobblehead will not be available for purchase but fans can win one through the official Habit Burger and Grill Instagram account from Oct. 4-9, and the reimagined Dodgers x Habit Home Base location on Sunset Blvd on Oct. 13.

Beginning at 5 p.m. PT that day, the first 70 fans to order an item from Vesia’s specialty menu at Habit in Echo Park will receive a free limited-edition bobblehead as well. One lucky fan also is going to receive a pair of tickets to a potential NL Championship Series game.

The bobblehead features Vesia in a home Dodgers uniform and posed as if he’s about to throw a pitch. But instead of a baseball in his left hand, the Vesia bobblehead is holding a double char burger.

Vesia is currently serving as Habit & Co.’s second resident chef, following Jet Tila. His limited-time Double Play Menu is available through Nov. 10. Vesia’s resident chef menu of items at Habit include a burger, salad and shake.

“Baseball and burgers just go together, and when we started talking about this menu, the idea of the double play felt like the perfect inspiration,” Vesia said in a statement. “Habit has always been one of my favorite spots, so getting to create a menu that fans can enjoy all season is pretty awesome.”

Double Play Char: A double-patty Charburger featuring two freshly chargrilled beef patties layered with American and white American cheese, fresh avocado, tomato, shredded lettuce, BBQ sauce and signature strikeout sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Packed with 43g of protein.

Double Play Salad: A protein-forward salad featuring two chargrilled chicken breasts over romaine and green leaf lettuce with hickory-smoked bacon, fresh avocado, crispy onion tanglers, tomatoes, BBQ sauce, strikeout sauce and housemade ranch. Delivers 72g of protein.

Double Chocolate Shake: A handcrafted, made-to-order chocolate shake blended with brownie pieces throughout and topped with whipped cream and even more brownie pieces for double the chocolate flavor.

“Alex brings the kind of personality to Habit that makes this collaboration pretty easy,” said Jack Lettenmair, director of brand marketing at Habit. “The Double Play Menu is built around the way he plays the game, and once we realized we could put Alex on a bobblehead holding his burger, we had to do it. We made 100. That’s it.”
