The 'Active 100-hit MLB seasons' quiz

The last time the Chicago White Sox won a playoff series, it was in the 2005 World Series against the Houston Astros.

21 years later, they’ve finally won another, once again against the Astros.

In his first postseason game since 2018, veteran Andrew Benintendi did his part in helping send Houston home, reaching base in three of his five at-bats with two walks and an RBI single in Game 2. Benintendi is one of the few White Sox with playoff experience, reaching October each season from 2016-18 with Boston and winning the World Series in 2018.

Next up for the White Sox is a date with their division-rival Cleveland Guardians in the ALDS. Chicago edged out the season series 7-6 against Cleveland this season despite allowing the Guardians to leapfrog them as American League Central champions late in the regular season.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Now in his 11th big league season, Benintendi was reliable for the White Sox in their magical turn-around in 2026, reaching 100 hits for the ninth time and fifth in a row. With that being said, can you name the active players with the most 100-hit seasons to their credit?

Good luck!
