The 'MLB Rookies of the Year' quiz

A little over a month into his MLB career, Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Shota Imanaga is becoming a phenomenon.

The 30-year-old Japanese rookie is 5-0 through his first six starts, with a minuscule league-leading 0.78 ERA. In 34.2 innings pitched, he has 35 strikeouts and just four walks, helping lead the Cubs to one of the best records in all of baseball. Following a charismatic introductory press conference, Imanaga quickly became a fan-favorite in the Windy City and continues to be the source of amazing quotes as the season progresses. Imanaga's next start is scheduled for Monday when he and the Cubbies host the struggling San Diego Padres.

Which brings us to today's quiz of the day. There is still a lot of the 2024 season left to play, but if Imanaga can keep things rolling, he should be in the NL Rookie of the Year conversation for the rest of the year. So with that in mind, how many of the last players from every MLB franchise to win Rookie of the Year can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
