The Arizona Diamondbacks will come out to punch back tonight against the Milwaukee Brewers, as they got shut out last night by a score of 7-0 over at Chase Field.

Who are the starting pitchers tonight?

Corbin Burnes will make his third start of his D-Backs career after signing a $210 million dollar deal. He has yet to show his Cy-Young abilities for the D-Backs, as his debut didn’t fare well, while his last start against the Washington Nationals he allowed four runs in five innings. Arizona would like to see Burnes make the sixth inning tonight, as he hasn’t in his first two starts for the Snakes. Burnes will face his former Brewers club for the second time, as last April he faced this Milwaukee ball club and gave up two earned runs in five innings.

The Brewers will have right-handed pitcher Chad Patrick on the mound tonight. His most recent start was against the Cincinnati Reds, where Patrick went 5.1 innings and gave up only two hits and one run. Patrick was initially drafted by the Diamondbacks in 2021 before being traded to Oakland two years later for Jace Peterson.

Who can the D-Backs lean on?

Geraldo Perdomo who is now the D-Backs leader in RBIs (13), puts him tenth in all of the MLB. Perdomo has also had a hit in two consecutive games, while in his last five outings, he has had a home run, two RBIs, and a .313 batting average.

Watch for D-Backs superstar Corbin Carroll as he has a five-game hitting streak. Carroll has been on fire, as in the last five games he has been hitting .450. Carroll also has two home runs, two doubles, and a triple to show for it.

Eugenio Suárez will be having his bobblehead night tonight. The first 20,000 D-Backs fans will receive one at Chase Field tonight. The first pitch is at 5:10 p.m. MST.
