The Atlanta Braves had their six-game winning streak snapped in the second game of their four-game series against the Nationals. They’re 7-3 in their last ten games, averaging 5.8 runs per game while allowing 4.3 runs per game. Ahead of today’s game, they designated right-handed pitcher Ian Hamilton for assignment. The move comes as the Braves are recalling their third overall prospect, right-handed pitcher Didier Fuentes, from Triple-A Gwinnett. The Braves optioned Fuentes to Triple-A after he started the season with Atlanta, so he could be worked out as a starter. Fuentes will be getting the ball and making the start tonight against Washington.
