Baseball's two Max Muncys faced off on Tuesday night

There are two different players in professional baseball with the name Max Muncy, and on Tuesday night, the stars aligned for them to be playing against each other in the same game.

One of the players named Max Muncy is a star for the Los Angeles Dodgers and has spent the past seven years as a key part of their roster. 

He has been sidelined since May due to injury and is currently on a rehab assignment in the minor leagues, playing for the Triple-A Oklahoma City Baseball Club.

The other Max Muncy, a first-round pick in 2021, is a prospect in the Oakland A's farm system and is playing for the Las Vegas Aviators. 

With Oklahoma City visiting Las Vegas on Tuesday night, it was the first-ever Max Muncy vs. Max Muncy matchup.
