Schneider wishes the best for him and hopes that the injury is not serious. For now, Cody Ponce is being examined by experts.
“He felt it hyperextend a little bit. Just wishing for the best, really,” John Schneider said.
Cody Ponce had a miserable year in 2021 after posting a 7.04 ERA. He went 0-6 and continued pitching in Korea and Korea. While he’s been pretty active in the game, injuries have played a vital role in his downfall.
Ponce started out well, but the Blue Jays might have to wait for a long time until he gets back in the game. The team dropped its first game of the season against the Rockies.
