Blue Jays vs. Yankees: The Toronto Blue Jays conclude their road trip with the finale of the four-game set against the New York Yankees on Thursday evening. The Blue Jays will look to split the series after edging the Yankees 2-1 on Wednesday night.
Toronto is improving from its wretched start with 10 wins from the last 20 games. Trey Yesavage outdueled his opponent in a battle between two of the hottest young pitchers, with six shutout innings and eight strikeouts. Andres Gimenez and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. delivered the only two runs for the Blue Jays in the seventh inning to take the victory.
New York extended their recent slump with eight defeats in the last 12 games. Cam Schlittler stayed unscathed on the mound for 6.0 innings before his outing fell apart. The Yankees only managed two base hits through the first six innings. They failed to score until Paul Goldschmidt made it a nervy finish, but it proved too little, too late.

Carlos Rodon will make his third start for the New York Yankees after returning from the IL. The veteran southpaw struggled in both of his previous outings but ramped up to 88 pitches on Saturday. He allowed five earned runs off five hits and eight walks despite getting 10 punchouts.
