The 'Active 40-HR MLB seasons' quiz

Seattle Mariners catcher and 2025 American League MVP runner-up Cal Raleigh has not been having a good time, going 0-for-38 for the longest hitless-streak of his career. 

After he was robbed on Monday night by a sliding catch in the ninth-inning to get the streak to 0-for-36, teammate Logan Gilbert gave him some non-traditional advice to get rid of the “bad juju.”

Raleigh showered in his full uniform following Monday’s game, and finally broke the streak on Tuesday. The positive signs were there early, when he worked a walk in his first at-bat. He struck out in his second plate appearance, but snapped the skid with a single in the seventh and another in the ninth. 

"I was kind of just, like, rolling my eyes because I knew everybody was going to be making a big deal about it," Raleigh said after the game. 

"But yeah, it felt good to barrel one up."

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Raleigh set switch-hitting and catching records with 60 home runs in 2025 to go with an American League-best 125 RBI. With that being said, how many of the active MLB players with a 40-HR season under their belt can you name in five minutes?
