Unfortunately, baseball season is coming to an end. For some Braves fans, that happened a couple of months ago, when the team fell 10 games behind in the standings. But for the real sickos that are still keeping a pulse on what’s going on within the organization, there are only a few weeks left.
On the farm, the lower levels of the minors are just about finished, with Braves #1 prospect Cam Caminiti making his final start of the season for the Augusta Green Jackets last night. Unsurprisingly, it was another gem, as he set a career-high with 91 pitches over six shutout innings with seven strikeouts.

Cam Caminiti reclassified ahead of the 2024 MLB Draft, meaning he was 17-years-old when the Braves took him with the 24th pick in the first round. He’s spent most of 2025 with Augusta, making 13 starts and recording a 2.08 ERA while striking out 12 batters per nine innings.
The Braves have taken things slowly with him thus far, as he just turned 19-years-old. However, with how they’ve handled their best arms in the past, it would be par for the course if they took the training wheels off a bit in 2026 and introduced Caminiti to some better competition.
