It's sometimes hard to believe that Ronald Acuña Jr is, today, turning twenty-six years old.
The Atlanta Braves outfielder has had quite a list of career accomplishments for someone who just completed their first quarter of life:
673 career games, 767 hits, 161 homers, 180 stolen bases, a Rookie of the Year award (2018), four All-Star selections, three Silver Sluggers, and a MVP title.
And he did this with only 77% of possible games played, owed to his delayed call-up in 2018 and lost time in both 2021 and 2022 around his ACL tear, playing in 673 out of 870 MLB games since the start of 2018.
Simply amazing. Happy birthday, Ronald. Hope it's a great one.
57 days. Atlanta's expected to ask pitchers and catchers to report on Monday, February 12th, in advance of their first spring training game on February 24th against the Tampa Bay Rays. An official announcement of the reporting date will come in January.
With their recent additions of Shohei Ohtani and Tyler Glasnow, the Los Angeles Dodgers continue to improve their betting odds of winning the World Series.
