The deadline to tender contracts to arbitration-eligible players is today. The Braves entered the day with a handful of candidates who could be non-tendered. If they aren’t tendered a contract, they immediately become free agents. If they are tendered and don’t agree to a deal beforehand, they’ll head to arbitration
So far, Atlanta has inked one-year deals with Mauricio Dubon, Joey Wentz, and Eli White.
The #Braves today agreed to terms with INF Mauricio Dubón, LHP Joey Wentz and OF Eli White on one-year contracts for the 2026 season.

According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the deal for Dubon is worth $6.1 million. That will be the largest contract handed out to any of the Braves arbitration eligible candidates.
Given that Atlanta just acquired Dubon via trade, there was never any question he would be retained for 2026. The other two — Joey Wentz and Eli White — were much more up in the air. Both had some decent moments for the Braves this year and have proven to be solid depth pieces. Combined, they will earn about $2 million next season.
With these moves official, the Braves only have a couple more decisions to make. Dylan Lee will assuredly be kept for next season, but it’ll be interesting to see if the club can work out something long-term with the lefty reliever. José Suarez, on the other hand, is certainly a candidate to be non-tendered.
