Braves make changes in Baseball Operations department

It’s been a wild first week of the offseason for the Braves, and the excitement is just beginning. Lost in all the coaching hires and player decisions, Atlanta also made a couple of promotions within their Baseball Operations department.

Michael Schwartze has been promoted to assistant GM, player personnel, and Adam Sonabend has been promoted to assistant GM, major league operations.

Two promotions in the #Braves’ baseball operations department:

* Michael Schwartze promoted to assistant GM, player personnel.

* Adam Sonabend promoted to assistant GM, major league operations.

Schwartze spent seven years in the San Francisco Giants analytics department before joining the Braves organization in 2024, spending last season as the vice president, player personnel. Sonabend spent last season as the Vice President, major league Operatons.
