Braves make multiple roster moves

On Friday, the Braves announced a couple of minor roster moves, claiming Osvaldo Bido and Anthony Molina off waivers. To make room on the 40-man roster, Josh Walker was designated for assignment.

Osvaldo Bido is 30 years old and has three years of major-league experience, appearing in 58 games (28 starts) and recording a 5.07 ERA. He’s just a year removed from posting a 3.41 ERA and 3.36 FIP in 63.1 innings for the Athletics, so perhaps the Braves can help him find something.

Anthony Molina is 23 years old and has appeared in 52 games over the last two seasons with the Rockies, boasting an unsightly 6.96 ERA. However, the numbers of every pitcher that is playing half of their games in Colorado should be taken with a grain of salt, as we’ve seen recently with Pierce Johnson and Tyler Kinley.
