Following a disappointing loss to the White Sox, highlighted by another dismal performance from Spencer Strider , the Atlanta Braves made a couple of roster moves.
Dane Dunning and Connor Seabold have joined the active roster. In corresponding moves, Daysbel Hernandez and Hunter Stratton have been optioned to AAA Gwinnett.
The #Braves today recalled RHP Dane Dunning and RHP Connor Seabold to Atlanta, after optioning RHP Daysbel Hernández and RHP Hunter Stratton to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game.

Hernandez gave up two runs and threw 45 pitches in last night’s 13-9 loss to the White Sox. He was likely going to be down for a few days regardless, so this move gives Brian Snitker another fresh arm in the bullpen.
Stratton last pitched on Saturday, but the Braves likely wanted to give Connor Seabold a look, who they picked up off waivers a week ago. Seabold has pitched 6.2 innings in the majors this year for the Rays, boasting a 1.35 ERA.
