The 'Active 20-home run MLB seasons' quiz

Before the 2025 Major League Baseball season, a single team hit nine home runs in a game just twice. With nine home runs at George M. Steinbrenner field against the Rays in Tampa on Tuesday, the 2025 New York Yankees have now also done it twice.

As the Bronx Bombers gear up for a massive four-game series with the Boston Red Sox later this week, Aaron Judge got the homer party started with a 429-foot blast to center field. He was followed immediately by Cody Bellinger and Giancarlo Stanton (who would both hit a second homer later in the game) to give the Yankees an immediate 3-0 lead that turned into a 13-3 victory.  Bellinger made history himself as well, becoming just the  fifth MLB player to play every outfield position and hit two home runs in the same game.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. The dingers were the 21st and 22nd of Bellinger’s 2025 campaign, his first in Pinstripes. With that being said, can you name the active MLB players with the most 20-home run seasons?

Good luck!
