Brewers activate All-Star catcher Omar Narvaez from IL

The Milwaukee Brewers are getting their All-Star catcher back in the lineup following an absence of more than one week.

The return of Narvaez will be welcome news for the "Brew Crew," who currently have a host of players battling injuries. Among them are All-Star starting pitchers Freddy Peralta and Brandon Woodruff.

Narvaez is currently slashing .274/.364/.415 with two home runs and 10 RBI and was a first-time All-Star in 2021.

Milwaukee (33-26) has lost six in a row and starts a nine-game road trip on Friday night, beginning with the Washington Nationals (21-38).
