Brewers' Christian Yelich damages Wrigley Field scoreboard

Yelich took batting practice ahead of Friday's season opener against the Chicago Cubs, and he looked in midseason form as he belted a bomb that accidentally damaged a portion of the Wrigley Field scoreboard:

The 2018 NL Most Valuable Player who was recently named the league's top star by ESPN's Paul Hembekides hit a career-high 44 home runs in 2019. Friday's blast won't Yelich's his popularity among Cubs fans who, sadly, can't attend Wrigley Field because of the coronavirus pandemic.
