Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski Announces Personal News on Monday

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski experienced an up-and-down MLB season in 2025.

The 23-year-old flamethrower burst onto the scene with a dominant first month, a stretch that earned him an All-Star selection and stirred debate around the league about whether the honor was warranted given his limited experience.

As the season wore on, Misiorowski struggled to maintain consistency. His electric fastball, once overwhelming, began to get hit more frequently, and manager Pat Murphy eventually shifted him to the bullpen as the postseason approached.

Overall, he finished the regular season with a 4.36 ERA across 15 appearances, striking out 87 batters in 66 innings. The numbers reflected both his raw talent and the adjustments he still needs to make at the big-league level.

When the Brewers advanced to the NLCS and injuries thinned their pitching staff, Misiorowski was called back into a starting and long-relief role.

He responded impressively, delivering two wins in three appearances while allowing just two earned runs over 12 innings and striking out 16. His performance in October reminded Milwaukee of the upside he brings when locked in.

Now preparing for the 2026 season, Misiorowski will aim to carve out a consistent role in the Brewers’ rotation and build on the flashes of dominance he has already shown. Away from the mound, he also shared a personal milestone.

Known for keeping his social media focused on baseball accomplishments, Misiorowski surprised fans on Monday by posting a photo of a wedding ring with a caption that read, "❤️."

The post signaled that he had gotten engaged, marking a significant moment in his personal life as he continues to grow both on and off the field.

While celebrating a new chapter off the field, Misiorowski’s attention will soon return to baseball. Drafted by Milwaukee in the second round of the 2022 MLB Draft, he now finds himself in a pivotal spot.

With ace Freddy Peralta entering the final year of his contract and trade rumors swirling due to the Brewers’ limited payroll flexibility, Misiorowski could eventually develop into a long-term replacement at the front of the rotation.
