Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Bryce Harper went viral last Monday for his unique gender reveal during a game against the San Francisco Giants where he stepped up to the plate with a blue Victus bat.
"They're having a boy! Bryce Harper gets the gender reveal for his fourth child thanks to a custom blue bat handed to him by Trea Turner," shared the MLB on X on April 14.

Harper revealed how the special moment happened behind-the-scenes in a joint Instagram post with his wife, Kayla today.
"Baby BOY Harper coming 2025 We wanted to be surprised and find out together, so we recruited Trea for some help. The doctor texted him the news and he was given two bats—one pink, one blue. Right before Bryce’s first at-bat, Trea gave him the bat that matched the baby’s gender. We’re so excited to add another boy to the family to even us out"
The post shows a smiling Harper and Trea Turner with a pink and blue Victus bat, and a video of Kayla jumping for joy when Harper reveals the color of the blue bat mid-game.
"Amazing to be a part of. Congrats!", commented Victus Sports.
The Harpers married in December 2016 and have 3 children together already, a boy, Krew, and two girls Brooklyn and Kamryn.
Despite the exciting announcement, the Phillies lost to the Giants 10-4, but may have a chance to redeem themselves today as they face the New York Mets.
