Nolan Arenado, the St. Louis Cardinals' 10-time Gold Glove winning third baseman, made not just one, but two plays in foul territory in which he crashed into the first row of Busch Stadium seats last month.
The highlight reel plays came on May 4 against the New York Mets and May 25 against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Following the second catch of the month, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post Dispatch posted on 'X' that the Cardinals should "paint the seat GOLD by next home stand ... Or at least put a band-aid on it."
Prior to Tuesday's series opener at Busch Stadium against the Kansas City Royals - a game where most eyes were on the MLB debut of Jac Caglianone - the Cardinals took to social media to share that they had obliged Goold's request, at least, one of them.

The team revealed in the video that they installed a gold seat - with a little help from Fredbird - in the area that Arenado twice crashed into the first row.
The golden throne, Seat 5 in the first row of section 162, has evidently become a hot ticket to purchase, as the entire first row of the section is sold out on Ticketmaster through the remainder of the current nine-game home stand.
The seat pays homage to both of Arenado's spectacular plays, as well as his 10 gold gloves in his 12-plus year big league career.
Goold posted a photo of the seat on 'X', calling it his "contribution, though it may only be a brief addition, to Busch (Stadium)."
