Chicago Cubs Center Fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and Left Fielder Seiya Suzuki have been great this month. They are only the third pair of Cubs teammates with 25+ RBI in the same calendar month. They joined Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez in August 2017 and Sammy Sosa and Henry Rodriguez in May 1999.
Suzuki has 27 RBI this month and is leading the league in that category. He is also eighth in the league in home runs. Crow-Armstrong has 28 RBI in May. He is eighth in the league in RBI and second in RBI. Will this duo keep performing at a high level for the Chicago Cubs?

Chicago is leading the National League Central at 34-21. Crow-Armstrong and Suzuki have helped Chicago have one of the league’s most potent offenses. They are second in batting average, fourth in home runs, and leading the league in runs scored by a sizable margin.
The team’s pitching staff has been mediocre in 2025. They are 16th in ERA, 21st in opposing batting average, and 18th in WHIP. Manager Craig Counsell has been juggling a pitching staff in flux. He has done well in that regard dealing with inconsistent performances on the mound.
Suzuki and Crow-Armstrong have three more games this month to add to their RBI totals. If the Chicago Cubs can continue producing on offense while having its pitching staff improve, the team has great potential.
