Chicago White Sox Release Awesome Promotional Calendar For 2024 Season
USA TODAY Sports

The Chicago White Sox don't figure to be much on the field in 2024, but they are certainly going to win over the fans with some of their ballpark promotions.

The Sox released their promotional calendar on Friday, and there are some definite winners in there:

You can see the full schedule by clicking on the link below:

Some of the highlights include:

March 30th vs. Detroit Tigers (White Sox hoodie night)

April 13th vs. Cincinnati Reds (White Sox crew neck sweatshirt)

April 27th vs. Tampa Bay Rays (White Sox throwback hockey jersey)

May 11th vs. Cleveland Guardians (White Sox quarter zip jacket)

May 25th vs. Baltimore Orioles (Luis Robert Jr. bobblehead)

June 29th vs. Colorado Rockies (City Connect basketball jersey)

While the in-ballpark stuff looks great, the on-field stuff looks to leave something to be desired. After finishing fourth in the American League Central last season, new general manager Chris Getz is working to reshape the Sox roster.

The team has already traded away reliever Aaron Bummer this offseason and could deal away ace Dylan Cease. Furthermore, they declined the team option on injured reliever Liam Hendriks.

As for acquisitions, the Sox have signed infielder Paul DeJong and traded for infielder Nicky Lopez. With regards to the rotation, they've added Chris Flexen, Erik Fedde, and Mike Soroka to the mix.

The White Sox last made the playoffs during the 2021 season and appear to be embarking on a rebuild after making several moves at the 2023 trade deadline to better position them for the future.
