Cincinnati Reds prospect Connor Phillips had a fantastic start for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday night.
The right-hander gave up two runs over six innings while striking out nine. More importantly, Phillips did not walk a batter, which is something he has struggled with.
The 23-year-old got 15 swings and misses and has a 1.78 ERA in his last three starts.
Phillips has looked much better since coming back from the Reds' complex in Arizona and is beginning to look more like he did last year.
