They have suffered back-to-back walk-off losses to the Cubs to start the four-game series. Brady Singer will start for the Reds tonight against Colin Rea at Wrigley Field. Before tonight’s game, the Reds announced five roster moves. Sending down game one starter Chase Petty and calling up two others.

Pierce Johnson

The Cincinnati Reds have activated Pierce Johnson from the Bereavement list ahead of tonight’s game. Johnson has pitched in 15 games for the Reds this season with one win and one loss. Johnson posted a 4.15 ERA and a 1.46 WHIP over 13 innings. He has recorded 13 strikeouts and 4 walks this season.

Brandon Williamson

The Reds have transferred Brandon Williamson from the 15-day injured list to the 0-day injured list with left shoulder fatigue. Williamson made six starts this year with a 2-3 record and a 6.11 ERA. He struck out 19 through 28 innings pitched this season.

Chase Petty

Tejay Antone

The Reds have selected the contract of Tejay Antone from the Louisville Bats today. Antone last pitched in the Majors back in 2024. He played in four games for the Reds with a 4.50 ERA. This season for Louisville Antone has made 12 appearances with a 1-1 record and a 2.25 ERA through 12 innings pitched. He has struck out 15 batters and has a 1.00 WHIP in Triple-A.

Natali Familia

The Cincinnati Reds have signed free agent Natali Familia to a minor league contract today as well. Familia is a right-handed pitcher who will be added to the lower minor league levels.
