Cincinnati Reds third-ranked prospect Alfredo Duno had an incredible regular season in 2025. In a year that would be his first full season, Duno ended his phenomenal season strongly.
Alfredo Duno was named the Florida State League Player of the Week for the week of September 2-7. The 19-year-old slashed .462/.556/.1544 with three home runs, five RBIs, four walks, and even had a four-hit game.
On the season, he slashed .287/.430/.495 with 18 home runs, 81 RBIs, 32 doubles, 95 walks, 91 strikeouts, and six stolen bases. While he is known for his offense, Duno has had a solid season defensively. He had a 25% caught stealing percentage, which is around 30% considered the Major League Average. This was also his first full season behind the plate.
