With a single in the bottom of the 4th inning tonight at home against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Cleveland Guardians Third Baseman Jose Ramirez notched a 20-game hitting streak. He is the first Cleveland Guardians player with a 20-game hitting streak since Jason Kipnis in 2025.
It has been a solid regular season for Ramirez. He is 10th in the league in batting average with 9 home runs and 26 RBI. Will he continue being a contributor to the Cleveland Guardians in 2025?

It has been a respectable start to the season for the Guardians. They are in third place in the American League Central at 29-25. Cleveland’s offense has been a massive disappointment. They are 25th in batting average, 15th in home runs, and 20th in runs scored. Left Fielder Steven Kwan is ninth in the league in batting average.
Cleveland’s pitching staff has also left much to be desired in 2025. They are 23rd in team ERA, 24th in WHIP, and 22nd in opposing batting average. The Guardians are always a contender but have not looked like it this season. They must begin playing up to their potential on both sides of the diamond.
Ramirez will look to extend his hitting streak to 21 games tomorrow afternoon in the final game of their series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ramirez is one of the best players in the game and will seek to keep tearing the cover off the ball.
