Complete Los Angeles Dodgers 2026 MLB Draft Class

The Los Angeles Dodgers made 16 selections over the course of the 2026 MLB Draft, with their picks comprising of 10 pitchers and six position players.

The Dodgers took six right-handers and four lefties in their 2026 Draft class. Of the six position players drafted by the Dodgers, three were infielders, and they were accompanied by two outfielders and one catcher.

The 2026 Dodgers draft class included 13 collegiate choices and just three high school players. L.A picked a prep player with their first selection before drafting nine consecutive college athletes. The organization then selected two high school players over their final six picks.

The Dodgers rank last among all teams with a bonus pool of just $3,951,900 for their 2026 MLB Draft picks. Bonus pools are calculated by adding the slot values of every pick through the first 10 rounds. Any signing bonus amount more than $125,000 for draft picks after the 10th round also count against pool money.

All teams have until 2 p.m. PT on Monday, July 27, to sign their picks from the 2026 Draft.

2026 Dodgers draft picks

Round 2, Pick 40: Bo Lowrance, INF

The Dodgers selected shortstop Bo Lowrance out of Christ Church Episcopal High School in South Carolina with the 40th overall pick in the 2026 MLB Draft. The selection dropped 10 spots as a penalty for exceeding the second surcharge threshold of the Competitive Balance Tax during the 2025 season.

Lowrance was ranked No. 21 on the top 250 Draft prospects list by MLB Pipeline. He doesn’t figure to remain at shortstop and could slide over to third base. The 18-year-old is currently committed to the University of Virginia, which may require the Dodgers to go above slot in order to sign him.

Round 4, Pick 132: Russell Sandefer, RHP

The Dodgers selected Russell Sandefer out of the University of Florida with the No. 132 overall pick in the 2026 MLB Draft.

The right-hander pitched to a 4.42 ERA with 60 strikeouts across 57 innings with the Gators last season. He was in his first year with Florida after transferring from the University of Central Florida, where he posted a 3.38 ERA with 49 strikeouts in 50.2 innings in 2025.

Round 7, Pick 223: Charlie West, LHP

The Dodgers’ first pick on Day 2 of the Draft was used on Charlie West, from the University of Connecticut. The left-hander pitched three seasons with the Huskies and demonstrated improved command each year.

Round 8, Pick 253: Miles Gosztola, RHP

The Dodgers continued their string of selecting college pitchers in the eighth round by drafting Miles Gosztola out of the University of Oregon. The right-hander posted a 3.61 ERA to go along with a 26% strikeout rate for the Ducks this past season.

Round 9, Pick 283: Kyeler Thompson, OF

The Dodgers drafted outfielder Kyeler Thompson from Texas Tech University with the 283rd overall pick in the ninth round. Thompson batted .358/.454/.491 and had 26 stolen bases for the Red Raiders this past spring.

Round 10, Pick 313: Devin Bell, RHP

The Dodgers returned to Oregon and drafted Devin Bell with the No. 313 overall selection in the 10th round. He recorded 12 saves and posted a 3.86 ERA as the Ducks’ closer last season.

Round 11, Pick 343: Cody New, LHP

The Dodgers selected Cody New out of California Baptist University with the 343rd overall pick. He was limited to one appearance last season due to injury, but earned All-WAC First Team honors in 2025 after posting a 2.92 ERA in 10 appearances (nine starts).

Round 12, Pick 373: Gavin Van Kempen, RHP

The Dodgers took Gavin Van Kempen out of East Carolina University in the 12th round. He put up a 1.84 ERA in six games this past season after spending his first three years at West Virginia University.

Round 13, Pick 403: Caleb Johnson, SS

The Dodgers selected Caleb Johnson out of Jacksonville State University in the 13th round. He finished his collegiate career by hitting .309/.559/.413 with 21 doubles, 10 home runs and 55 RBI as a senior.

Round 14, Pick 433: Ryne Rodriguez, LHP

The Dodgers used the 433rd overall pick on Ryne Rodriguez, a left-handed pitcher from the University of Houston. He is coming off a year that saw him post a 4.39 ERA across 55.1 innings with 57 strikeouts.

Round 15, Pick 463: Aemed Nasser, OF

The Dodgers selected Central Pointe Christian Academy outfielder Aemed Nasser in the 15th round. Listed at 6-foot-3, 170 pounds, he is the 189th-ranked prep player in the country and the 33rd-ranked outfielder, according to Perfect Game.

Round 16, Pick 493: Ethan Sutton, RHP

The Dodgers selected Ethan Sutton out of the University of Central Florida with the 493rd overall pick. He led the Knights with nine saves and posted a 4.31 ERA across 48 innings this past season.

Round 17, Pick 523: Camden Wimbish, RHP

The Dodgers took Camden Wimbish out of Campbell University with the 523rd overall pick. He finished his collegiate career by posting a 5.61 ERA with 59 strikeouts in 51.1 innings

Round 18, Pick 553: Max Irving Jr., SS

The Dodgers picked Max Irving Jr. out of Montverde Academy in Florida with the 553rd overall pick. He is coming off a year that saw him hit .474 with 12 doubles, seven home runs, 28 RBI, 38 runs scored and 14 stolen bases.

Round 19, Pick 583: Luke Bard, C

The Dodgers took Luke Bard out of Houston Christian University in the 19th round. The son of Dodgers bullpen coach Josh Bard, he batted .345 during his senior campaign and made at least 36 starts over the past three seasons.

Round 20, Pick 613: Zach Bates, LHP

The Dodgers’ final selection was on Zach Bates out of the University of Illinois in the 20th round. The left-hander missed the entire 2026 season due to injury, but was selected to the All-Big Ten Third Team as a reliever last year.
